The Role
Dancers should prepare a showcase of their Hula dance skills featuring: Tahitian, hula ʻauana, hula kahiko, and oli. Preference is towards dancers who are also vocalists but not required. Dancers able to dance across multi-genre will be highly considered.
Criteria
- Dance training: a high level of hula, Cuban, ballet, modern jazz, ballroom
- Female dancers: minimum height of 5’8″ (175 cm) with elegant figure
- Male dancers: minimum height of 5’11” (180 cm) and firmly muscular figure
- Excellent stage presence
Skills: Talent with singing, dance, stage, and acrobatic training preferred.
Ethnicity: All Ethnicities
Gender: All genders 21 and older.
Required Media: Cover letter, headshot photo, and video with a brief introduction of yourself and showcasing your talent
Submissions must be received by August 30.
Auditions with callbacks will run through September.
